1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the Geosite Telecom app (the "App") collects, uses, stores and shares its users' data, in line with Google Play Store requirements. The App is developed and operated by Geosite Tecnologia S.A. (Brazilian company number 50.086.075/0001-05). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Scope and purpose of the App
Geosite Telecom was built to:
- Display maps showing the user's current location;
- Allow points to be recorded on the map in order to:
- Register the address of customers who are going to contract telecommunications services;
- Register poles and other elements related to FTTH infrastructure;
- Carry out network feasibility analysis based on positions indicated by the user.
- Manage the mapping of the fibre optic network
The App has a login screen, with authentication using credentials provided by the user's manager or supervisor. The app is aimed at managers and technicians working in the field.
Geosite Telecom does not collect data from minors and is not directed at children.
3. Data collected
- Current location: To display the map and allow points to be recorded, the App accesses the user's current location and makes it easy to find via a button that centres on that location. We do not store this data.
- Access to a user's precise location is considered sensitive data. This data is used only in real time for map features and is not stored.
- Login data: Access to the App is through credentials provided in advance by the manager or supervisor.
- Personal information: The user's name and phone number are collected, as registered by the manager on the main platform.
- Note: Sensitive data such as national identity numbers or other personal identifiers is not stored.
- Geographic point data: Information about customer addresses, poles, FTTH elements and positions for network feasibility analysis, entered by the user while using the App.
- Third-party data: We use third-party services for map features (for example, Google Maps). Please refer to those providers' privacy policies for details on how they process data.
4. Use of the data
The data collected by Geosite Telecom will be used to:
- Allow the map to be displayed with the user's current location;
- Make it easier to record and manage points on the map (customer addresses, poles, FTTH elements);
- Run network feasibility analysis based on the location provided by the user;
- Ensure security and restricted access to data through the login and credentials provided.
5. Data sharing
Users' data may be shared exclusively with:
- Managers and authorised representatives of the company, who use the App for operational purposes and to support telecommunications services;
- Other technical staff, where operationally necessary, always in line with legal provisions and using the minimum data required for the intended purpose.
Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
6. Data security
We apply technical and administrative measures consistent with industry standards to protect users' personal and sensitive data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of transmitted data;
- Restricted access controls to our systems;
- Monitoring and auditing of access and activity.
7. Data retention and deletion
The data collected will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, respecting the applicable legal and contractual periods.
Procedure for deleting data: Although the App does not provide a direct in-app data deletion mechanism, users may request deletion of their information through their company manager, who must forward the request to the responsible team. Requests will be assessed in line with applicable law.

8. User rights
Users have the right to:
- Request information about the personal data we hold;
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date data;
- Request deletion of data, through their company manager, following the procedure described;

This policy is available at a public URL accessible from a standard browser, with no need for plug-ins or special software. The content of this Policy cannot be edited by the user, which guarantees the integrity of the information published.
